The Historic Thendara Town Hall has been transformed into a giant indoor Candy Land for the holiday season and owners Stuart DeCamp and Jimi Ortiz will host a grand opening on Friday, November 27, 2009 from 11 a.m. to 5 a.m.
Candy Land will also be open on Saturday and Sunday and every weekend throughout the season offering
games, crafts, hot chocolate, cookies and a parlor stove to warm up visitors and passersby.
Bob Kloster and local artist Jack Molesky, who for years was the resident artist at the Enchanted Forest, have loaned fabulous holiday decorations from their whimsical private collection for the display which includes a giant sundae and a vast array of hand-painted, life-sized, 3D Christmas figures.
Candy Land is located at 120 Forge Street, just a short walking distance from the Thendara Train Station.
Children are admitted free and should be accompanied by a parent. For additional information call (315) 369-3104 or 369-2323.
